Distinctive Systems Inc. Announces Retirement of President Don Greenglass and Appointment of Bob Hopwood as President

[Estero, Florida] — September 22, 2026 — Distinctive Systems Inc. today announced the retirement of Don Greenglass, President, following a career with Distinctive Systems that spans more than two decades. Don’s contributions have played an important role in establishing and growing Distinctive Systems’ presence in the North American bus and tour operator industry.

Don’s relationship with Distinctive Systems dates back to the early 2000s and includes his instrumental role in the creation of Distinctive Systems Inc. in 2009, establishing the North American branch of Distinctive Systems Ltd. Under Don’s leadership, the company brought Distinctive Systems’ core software solutions to the North American market, which include the industry leading Coach Manager Contract and Charter Booking System, Tour Booking System, and Vehicle Maintenance System.  These products have become an important part of the day-to-day operations of bus and tour companies throughout North America, helping operators manage their vehicles, charter and tour reservations, tours, and business operations.

Bob Hopwood Appointed President

As part of the leadership transition, Bob Hopwood has been appointed President of Distinctive Systems Inc. Bob has been with Distinctive Systems for 20 years and most recently served as Vice President of Support and Training Services.  Bob will lead the experienced North American management team of Eric Elliott - VP of Sales & Marketing, Jason Fenske - Director of Support and Training Services, and Paul Demciuch - Director of Technical Services. Together with the company's dedicated support team, we are excited to continue providing outstanding client support services and expertise to the more than 400 North American companies using one or more of Distinctive Systems’ industry-leading products.
