The Coach Manager Community Transport System adds a collection of additional features to Coach Manager developed to meet the specialised needs of the community transport industry.

The contract side of Coach Manager handles any journey that repeats on either a regular or irregular basis. The Coach Manager Community Transport System enhances this facility by allowing a list of passengers to be associated with each individual journey. If appropriate, the list of passengers can be fixed for every journey. Alternatively, individual passengers can be added or removed as and when required.

The system stores comprehensive details about each passenger including a generous area for notes. User definable special needs are easily recorded for each individual and can highlight the need for a fixed wheelchair position or a personal attendant.

Every passenger can have an unlimited number of pick-up or set-down addresses, each associated with a user definable area code if required. Every contract can have a user definable journey type, one or more of which can be assigned to each passenger. Area codes and journey types provide a mechanism for automatically ensuring passengers can only travel on appropriate journeys. For maximum control, individual contract journeys can also be limited to a predefined list of passengers.

In common with every part of Coach Manager, the standard data fields for each passenger can be extended by the user to accommodate an unlimited number of additional fields, each with its own user defined title and data type. Effectively this means there is no limit to the information that can be systematically stored against each passenger. Every last piece of information can also be accessed and analysed by our built-in user definable reporting system.

The system also includes a diary specifically designed for community transport journeys. A data grid lists all the journeys for a selected day and as each journey is selected a separate grid lists all the passengers travelling on it. The grid can be used for quickly adding or removing passengers and for editing the order or time of pick-ups and set-downs.
